Hey You

Good morning how are you? I am here with my second layout for Craft on the Run using the Uniquely Creative - High Tea collection and this time its for the boys - and a little follow along tutorial.

To approach this collect from the masculine side I pulled all the monochromatic papers so things that sat on the grey,  and green scales.

So those who have an eager eye you would have notice I used the same wood grain.... and if you look it is the same format as the girl layout.

To start deconstruct the woodgrain keeping it in the order that you cut it and then distress the  edges with a distress tool and then stick it on your background - black cardstock in this case.

Fill in the large title with a grey pattern paper or you could keep the black and white spot that is in the title already from the ephemera pack.

Grab a stencil and a blending brush and focus your pattern to the top half  the paper, working it left to right and building a very light pattern over the wood grain.

Now grab a permanent ink like an archival or stanz on and a couple of background stamps like this Uniquely Creative numbers one.....

Stamp randomly across you stencil work - I dont mount my stamps on a block ... it allows me to get a more random look - not so clean.

I used the Tim Holtz Embossing folder on a piece of grey pattern paper this will be one of my first layers. To show its definition rub the archival ink gentle over the top of the piece.... it will show all the details of the folder.

Now its about building up your layers and mats for your photos.

And add your title with some foam tape to add another layer.

Splatter Black Dylusions over your layers.

Need some embellishments cut some with a die cut - like these gears.

Till next month have a creative day
