Hey crafty Chit Chatters sorry I'm a little late this month but hey lots happening in life now that WA has decided to join the rest of the world.

 Anyway this months collection is from Uniquely Creative and called "Seize theDay". I have done a little video of a quick layout for you . I hope you enjoy it.

 Well its officially the crazy season, running out of hours in the day to get everything done, but I am determined to finish the year on a strong note, which hopefully will lead to the same time of theme into the New Year..... right?

November is Maja Designs (from Sweden) month here at Craft on the Run, I have been given the beautiful Maja Designs Tropical Garden Collection to play with. This collection features beautiful birds and wildflowers, and are great for layering and fussy cutting.

These Maja Tropical Garden papers were so pretty I thought I should use up the leftovers to make a couple of cards. Hope you like what I have created , and will be inspired to Used these papers. These are great papers to layer and fussy cut.

Stamperia Amazonia Jaguar - Jacquie Hay DT

Hello it's Jacquie here with another blogpost for Stamperia month.

I am working with the Amazonia Jaguar collection by Stamperia.

Step 1

First I took a couple of sheets of SBB768 and fussy cut the Jaguar and layered it up with foam tape and inked the edges using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Hello it's Jacquie here, and this month we are showcasing Stamperia Collections. I am working with the Amazonia Toucan collection.

First, I trimmed a piece of patterned paper SBB765 to 11 3/4" square, and attached it to a piece of craft cardstock.

Its Debra here today sharing another layout using the beautiful Mintay Urban Jungle collection

My first step  was to choose a background paper . I chose sheet number 4.

     

Next I chose to use sheet number 3 and fussy cut the images I was going to use. 

Placing them on my layout I decided to cut them into 2 pieces so I would see more of the image once the photo was in place.

 I cut a frame, one with the film strip from sheet no.6 again cutting it in half adhering behind my photo at the top and bottom of the photo.

I use some of the pieces I had previously fussy cut from the images on the back of the cover sheet.

 Next I used some of the Cardboard stickers to add a bit more interest to my layout. 

Now my layout is complete and I am happy with the results.

 We at Craft on the Run have heard a few rumblings from people who seem to struggle a little with the beautiful Mintay Collections. Yes we to know that sometimes they can be a little intimidating. Sometimes I would rather just frame each paper and put them on my walls.

Mintay - Childhood

Now for my layout, firstly the Mintay papers have numbers on their branding strip, numbered 1 to 6, I will refer to the papers using these numbers. Firstly I fussy cut the pieces I wanted from the fussy cut sheet , i have circled the ones i used on this layout.

Next I gutted the No.2 green background sheet, giving me a one inch frame and a 10 inch square.

Next I trimmed quarter of a inch from all sides of sheet number 1, giving me an 11 1?2 inch piece that i adhered to my green frame.

 I chose a frame that I liked from sheet 6, cut it diagonally. I mounted my photo on white cardstock ,then double mounted it with the frame IMintay had cut diagonally.

I them attached the photo to my layout background, using cardboard behind the photo to add dimension. i then played with layering my fussy cut pieces, adhering then with dimensional tape when I was happy with the placement.

Next, I pulled a few chipboard pieces from the chipboard sheet and added them to the layout

Lastly I did a little stamping on my background using archival ink and a grid stamp, ten a freehand pen line around the page. My page is now complete.
