Hello
Jacquie here with my second blog post for
Maja Month using the lovely Tropical Garden Collection
.
Step 1. Use Big Leaves for the base and gut the centre leaving a 1” border.
Step 2. Trim the Cockatoo paper to 11.75” square and ink the edges using Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Oxide ink. Attach it to the Big Leaves base border.
Step 3. Double mat your photo using the reverse of the die cuts paper and the centre piece of the Cockatoo paper.
Step 4. Cut a strip of Exotic Plants paper 2” x 8”, ink the edges and attach it to the layout 3” from the left hand side.
Step 5. Use the Branding strip from the Big Leaves paper, ink the edges and cut it to 10.5” long then attach it over the Exotic Plants strip.
Step 6. Cut a piece of the Exotic Plants paper to 4” x 6”. Use the check side up and use a border punch along the bottom edge. Ink the edges and attach it to your layout.
Step 7. Mat your photo and attach to the layout using foam tape. Add a journal card to the right of the photo.
Step 8. Make a little cluster on the bottom right edge of your layout using paper and white flowers.
Step 9. Use a punch to make a small banner and attach it to the bottom left of your photos with some string.
Step 10. Fussy cut a flower from the Die cut paper and attach it to the left of your photo with a couple of white flowers.
Step 11. Attach a title and some stitching to the edge of your layout and it’s complete.
I Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
