Rikki here today to share with you another layout using the very stylish
Denim and Girls collection from Maja Designs.

Today I am doing a tutorial on how to create a layout using a cut file and a collection of papers.
Start off with your background layers and use a distress tool to give your pattern paper a rough edge.
Fussy cut the pattern out of the Wonderful paper, just follow different parts of the paper so we can piece things together.
Select some pattern papers to fill in your flowers from the cut file.
To fill in your flowers, trace around with a led pencil the parts you want to fill and then flip your cut file over and add glue to the white part then stick your pattern paper in the areas that you have traced and cut around.
Repeat this step with different pattern papers till you have completed the flowers.
Repeat with the leaves also.
Add foam mount to the back of the cut file to add dimension, I ended up adding two layers to add extra height and dimension.
Now to finish off the layout add photos to your film strip and then add all your fussy cutting to the layout. Dont forget to add pieces over and under each other to give flow to the layout.
Use some die cut diamonds throughout the layout to help balance out the white in the cut file. Add some gold rhinestones and butterflies to complete the layout.
