Teacher Appreciation Cards - Crystal Watts

Good Morning Everyone!

Im really excited to be sharing my tutorial with you today on these Super Simple Teacher Appreciation Cards.
I have very good friends that are teachers and one of there favourite parts of being a teacher is the special gifts and things children/parents make for them to display in the class room. So why not play along with me and make some of these cards for the special teachers in our little ones lives?!
Did you know that there is even a WORLD TEACHER DAY!
This year it is Wednesday 5th October 2022.

Here are the cards im going to be showing you how to create...

Lets Start with the Shaker card first...

Start by taking your Echo Park - I Love School 4x6 Journaling Cards and you want to cut out this black teacher chalkboard. Place the rest to one side.

Once you have cut this 6''x4'' Journal card trim the top and bottom so that it now measures
5 3/4'' x 4'' and then you want to gut the center out as shown in picture below.

Next you want to take a sheet of clear acetate and adhere the wood grain border to the top and trim down like below (Place to one side).
Taking the black chalkboard center piece adhere down to the center of a piece of white rectangle cardstock (approx. 6x4" when folded)

Next you want to take fussy cut elements from the following sheets Echo Park - I love School "School Days" , Echo Park - I love School "School Things" , Echo Park - I love School "Backpacks"  You can adhere some into a certain place or leave loose on the black background.
*Just remember the smaller the pieces they can flip over, So as you can see in the pictures below I adhered the crayons into place and left the rest free floating.

Lastly for this card you want to take some Glitter/Rhinestones and/or Micro-beads and poor some into the center of the cardstock. Add some of your Uniquely Creative - Autumn Enamel Dots if you wish as well. Using foam mount tape create an entire touching edge around your acetate wood grain boarder and adhere over the top of all of these elements creating one large shaker card.

Your First Card is now complete!

This second card is really simple!
Taking the Echo Park - I Love School 4x6 Journaling Cards once again you want to this time use the blue 6x4 Journal Card. Trim this down to 5 3/4'' x 4'' and adhere with foam mount tape to the center of a piece of white rectangle cardstock (approx. 6''x4" when folded)

Using Echo Park - I love School "School Things" fussy cut some elements and adhere with foam and glue into place around the card like the below pictures.

Next take some of your Uniquely Creative - Autumn Enamel Dots and place in clusters of three around the other elements.
Finish off your card by using some glossy accents and highlight some of the school elements.

Your Second card is now complete!

Time for your 3rd and final card!
Taking your Echo Park - I love School "School Things" paper this time you want to use both sides and firstly your going to cut a piece of the yellow tartan pattern down to 3 1/4'' x 8'' and sand edges. Using a White UC Slimline Cardstock for this card go ahead and adhere your pattern piece to the center.

Next you want to cut out 8 little blackboards from the Echo Park - I love School "School Days"
paper I have chosen boards that are specifically related to a teacher.

Two of the boards I have then covered with elements from the Echo Park - I love School "School Things" paper using both foam and glue.

Once this is completed take all 8 of your little boards and your going to foam mount them in 2 even rows vertically as shown in the photo below.

Finish it off by throwing on some of your Uniquely Creative - Autumn Enamel Dots

Your 3rd card is now complete!

Now you have some wonderful cards to give to those special teachers in your life!!
