CUT FILE - Heart Collage Frame

Hi everyone, Nicole here with sharing my second ‘CUT-FILE’ layout. I must admit that I have become hooked on this style of scrapbooking, it’s a great way to stash bust, backing all the segments with leftover pieces of patterned paper and the layouts come together so quickly. Today my cut file is a heart shaped collage frame, and once again I have used Carta Bella’s Farmhouse Market collection.

Live simply - Love deeply

Hi Crafty Peeps, Sharon here showing my second layout for April.

What did you do on ANZAC day? I've been away in Luxie the Caravan since before Easter, so I spent ANZAC day quietly reflecting and thinking of my Dad who server in WW2 and his uncle who was Killed in Action in Belgium in WW1.

Lest We Forget.

PEAR - Cut-File

Hello again my crafty friends.
By now you may have seen the other design teams gorgeous layouts using cut files; have you tried creating a layout using one yet?

They are real fun to play with and can be themed to whatever papers or photos you have.
Grab a Cut File from Craft On The Run there are plenty to choose from.
Words or pictures there's sure to be a cut file that suits.

Today I'll be playing with this cute cut file which was really intended for lemons...but who said it had to be lemons?
My paper and photos were all about "pears" so I made it suit my page.
When life give's you lemons give them to a crafter and she'll turn them into pears!

WONDERFUL - Nicole Wilson

Good morning Chit Chatters, I hope you are enjoying this month’s theme ‘CUT-FILES’. I have always admired the amazing layouts that are created using cut files, but I hadn’t tried it until recently (this is only my third time). I must admit that I had no idea how to ‘back’ a cut file at first, but I found a great tutorial on YouTube showing different techniques. If you’re inexperienced, like me, I think it’s a good idea to begin with something simple, so a large word title, with thick lines is a ‘WONDERFUL’ place to start.

I must admit I've never played with these before but I love it.
So different to what I'm used to doing on my layouts.
