Hello Crafters,
I hope your all well, and getting in as much creating time as possible!
Welcome to July, well this month here at Craft on the Run we are getting to play with some of the new collections that have arrived in store as of late.
Today and later in the month I will be sharing the beautiful Uniquely Creative - Hey Baby Girl collection.
I had one of the Uniquely Creative 8x10 Albums sitting around and though using this kit would be perfect to start my baby album.
Starting by using the Uniquely Creative - Petal Album Inserts I wanted to create also some mini pages as well as using the pocket sleeves!
Distressing edges, Inking edges and using some of the creative cuts this page was pretty simple to put together.
The best thing about the 8x10'' Album Inserts is how thick they are, meaning you can be creative on both sides and get two layouts on the one insert without any pulling or sagging etc.
This layout is a simple single photo layout with a 4x6'' photo mat and as you can see I've used a torn piece of Eucalyptus cardstock from UC and the dots side of the Little Angel Paper in the collection, to make a feature down the middle of the page.
Finished off with the cutest little Elephant some floral pieces fussy cut from the Cutie Pie - Fussy Cuts Paper and a title from the Collectables.
Using some crystal sickles and some bling to brighten up the page, and then some washi tape to top it all off.
The next part is simple but effective using a piece of the Rock-a-Bye Baby - Pocket Cuts Paper. I've simply cut them up and slotted them together in the pocket pages (the white cardstock is where I will eventually slot photos.
I also decided to adhere some of the fussy cut pieces to the outside of the pocket pages along with some bling to create depth to the pages.
This little pocket page, along with a couple of others I decided to play around and make some little embellishment clusters, Foam mount and bling give this some dimension.
Try sanding some of the edges of your pocket inserts I find it just softens the look of them a little bit. Take some of the tags from the embellishment clusters and add them to your pockets they are perfect to use for journaling later on.
These were so fun to put together and will be adding some of the Uniquely Creative - Hey Baby Boy pages later on as I cant leave him out of this album considering I've got both a boy and girls on board this triplet train!
Thank you so much for following along and hopefully I've inspired you to create something different!

Once again thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read the blog...
Until next time... Remember
Crafting is cheaper than therapy!
