Good morning how are you? Rikki here today to share with you a little process video on how to use the new cut files with your layouts .... these cut files are exclusively IN STORE ONLY so why dont you pop down the the shop to grab yourself some new files.
And what about some new papers like the New Maja Designs
Now on to using cut files with your layouts.
I have to say when this style of scrapping came along I wasn't entirely sure about it, I thought it was a little like cheating but I now realise that no it isn't. Its just how you approach it.
For me its been a little bit of a mojo booster, coordinating a title with papers and embellishments..... and I realised I didn't have to give up any of my styling and things I love to add on a scrapbook page.
Like fussy cutting.
You can follow along with the process video.
I love paying with anything messy the joys of this is you can really custom your layouts to match your inserts of papers in your cut file.
Like using your texture stamps with Tim Holtz Oxides - Tattered Rose, Kitsch Flamingo and Ground Expresso.
I always love some gold I mean who doesnt? Just stamp over the top to add that lux touch...
To make the layout your own why not add some Dusty Attic Chipboard elements, just because you have a big word doesnt mean you cant add a title to your page.
Add elements of fussy cutting with Florabella fussy cut sheet....
Some times to finish off a layout you need a board or something to stop your background feeling incomplete so this is where washi tape is your best friend - a simple and easy to use item and a must in your stash like the Unquiely Creative Candy Strip Washi tape.
Other elements to add or to personalise your layout are things like Die cuts, to kept the and tie in your cut file cut things like Film strips in white and add in your layer.
