Shake it - with Jenny

Hello Chit Chatters

Today I would like to share with you my final men's card.

This one is a little bit more detailed, if you want to follow along and get stuck you can always ask me in the Craft on the Run Chit Chat group.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

To create this card you can follow these Instructions below:

Cut a square of patterned paper from “It’s a Boy Thing” Paper Collection 12.5cm wide by 12.5cm high.

Die cut a corner cogs image from the paper about half a centimetre from the bottom and half a centimetre from the left.

This die cut can be saved and used on another card.

Die cut the same image from brown mirror board. I used a double sided adhesive tape on the back of the mirror board before I cut. (This basically makes your image a sticker).

Cut a piece of acetate the same size as the patterned paper square and adhere to the back. Peel off the tape from the back of the cogs die cut and mount onto the acetate lining up with where the cut out space.

Turn the paper over and put double sided tape around the edges, and also around the design to ensure sprinkles will stage close to the image. Add some additional tape for support for the top part of the card.

Fill the space behind the cut out with mixed confetti, sequins, micro beads etc.

Sprinkles & Sequins

Peel off the tape and mount a piece of ivory cardstock slightly smaller than the front to the top of this.

Add double sided tape all around this piece and mount onto a 13cm x 13cm ivory cardstock.

This will then be mounted onto the square card

(Note: I find it easier covering the back first to enclose the sprinkles before trying to mount it onto the card.

Die cut Happy Birthday using Paper Rose Die.

I cut the background from ivory cardstock and the words with brown mirror board. Mount the words onto the backgrounds and then adhere the backgrounds onto the card.

I then added two pieces that I cut from the Uniquely Creative Steampunk Safari Cut A Part sheet for extra decoration.

Your card is complete.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Don't Forget to

Until next time remember to find some time to create.
