Forever - FEATURE PRODUCT / COMING SOON

Good morning how are you? Rikki here on a hump day hopefully getting you inspired to get a little bit creative even if its just for 10 minutes.

I am once again sharing some work using the NEW Uniquely Creative Outback Divine. Dont forget to ring the store to grab some of this amazing collection - it wont last long.

One of the stand out products from this collection is the new SLIM GUM LEAVES DIES what an amazing die!!! For any paper crafters the things you can do.....

Keep the die as is and add different backgrounds. Or like what I have done here I tinted the white cardstock with LINDYS STAMP GANG MAGICALS, once it was die I chopped it up so I could add throughout the fussy cut pieces and the the creative cuts.

When you have chipboard, add some metallic interest by hitting with waxes, ever so lightly with your finger, this allows all the textures from chipboard.

Use a combination of fussy cutting  and creative cuts.

Vagabond Double Layout by Robyn Leeanne

Hello Chit Chatters

Robyn Leeanne here with my very first blog for Craft on the Run. I am so excited to show you how I achieved my double layout. I do hope it inspires you to purchase and try out the beautiful Stamperia Vagabond Papers available at Craft on the Run instore and online.

When I was given this collection to work with it was instant love, instant inspiration, my projects instantly came to my mind. So with inspiration and enthusiasm here is my Vagabond double layout.

Products used and links to them online are listed below.

First up of course was a little bit of fussy cutting. As there are large graphics in this collection I was able to fussy cut 2 different graphics to use as side panels on my chosen 12 x 12 base paper

I scored and attached each side panel to create a central opening on the 12 x 12 base paper.

With the other half of the paper that I fussy cut I sized, cut and scored to put between the fussy cut side panels the base paper to make another page between the two that also met in the middle of the base page.

I then trimmed and inked the edges of my photos and along with Stamperia Vagabond Chipboard Sheets and Dusty Attic titles completed the layout.

This is the final product

I hope this inspires you to create.

ART - with Guest Designer Sharon Giles.

Today we have a special feature for you our amazing customers very talented guest designer  and teacher to the store Sharon Giles. Sharon has a talent for multiple photos on the page with a clear graphic style.

Featuring 49 & Market Wedgewood Collection, and what's not to love with the burnt oranges and powerful blues, with a touch of shabby chic.

I know, what to do with papers that are all so perfect? why not get your sewing machine out, you can change up the stitches to add interest to the page. This really adds a texture to mimic the printed stitching already on the paper.

Another thing to remember when you paint your chipboard once its dry sand it to make it distressed. To add to the grunge feel lightly sponge it with some back paint to pick up some of the rough textures that are made from the sanding process.

Attention to details are the key in great design. So why dont you sew your journal card down and add a small stitch along the strips.
