Bird Cage Beauty

 Hello and welcome.

How is your Sunday? Its very wet and cold here in WA, so the perfect time to catch up on my blog and do a little craft.

I wanted to share with you all a little project that I had my hubby help me with a couple of weeks ago. I had this antique looking birdcage sitting in my craft room and I was waiting for the right time to do something with it.
It was when I was cleaning out the craft room that I had a light bulb moment and I asked hubby if he could make a few minor adjustments and turn it into a light shade.
So off to the shed he went and cut the top from it and drilled a hole the size of the light fixture and BOOM....here it is.
It is now proudly on display covering my light in the craft room.

CAN A GUITAR REALLY LOOK THIS GOOD?

Hello & Welcome

Today I want to share with you a very special project I completed recently.
I was inspired by an article that I had seen some time ago in a Scrapbooking Magazine.
They had taken an old guitar and given it a fresh new look.

So with that in mind, I went and scoured our local markets and found an old guitar.
I paid $20 for it. It was pretty beat up and covered in some awful paint colour but I knew that with a bit of work, it could be turned into something beautiful.

Singapore Journal - South East Asia Cruise - October 2015

Good Evening All. I hope this post finds you well.

I wanted to share with you today, my recent Travel Journal.
 The journal is from Kaszazz.
Unfortunately it is no longer available. Such a shame, as it's a really a great product.
I loved that it came in a kit with all the accessories needed to complete the journal.
I packed it along with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher, journal pens, tape runner and my Fuji Instax camera.
The sticker pack and metal embellishments were from the cruise ship journal kit.

This blog will show the finished journal and how I put the pages together.

Let your Dreams Take Flight

 Hello and Welcome

Today I would like to share with you my latest creation.

I've had this canvas sitting in my craft room for quite some time and the other day, the sun was shining, so I thought "why not get creative and enjoy mother nature".
So I took my Dylusions Sprays and some stencils and got messy.

A Life Without Dreams

"A Life Without Dreams is like a Garden without Flowers"

Hello and welcome to my latest blog post.

Recently I was asked to showcase some Dusty Attic
products in store, so that customers had some ideas on what the products could be used for and how they looked when altered with different mixed media.

This was a bit of a challenge but I am very happy with the end result.
