Let your Dreams Take Flight

 Hello and Welcome

Today I would like to share with you my latest creation.

I've had this canvas sitting in my craft room for quite some time and the other day, the sun was shining, so I thought "why not get creative and enjoy mother nature".
So I took my Dylusions Sprays and some stencils and got messy.

As you can see I used a combination of stencils and colours.
To achieve the drip effect, I placed the canvas upright on my stand and allowed the paint to run.

Once the canvas was dry I used a feather stencil and gold embossed randomly over the canvas.

I wanted to use these Dusty Attic
dream catchers. I am so in love with them.
I just had to use them on this canvas.

I painted them and while the paint was still wet , sprinkled gold embossing powder onto them and heat set.
When I had the desired effect, I attached with Helmar 450 glue.

These scrolls where painted and embossed the same way as the dream catchers.
I added them to the corners of my canvas to balance out the design.

Once I had it all stuck in place. I chose my quote. I used chipboard letters in different fonts. I find this is a great way to use up all those odd letters I have in my stash.
It gives a great effect.
To finish of the canvas I used a combination of the Dylusions Sprays in Pinks, Purples & Blues.
To soften the colour I used the White Dylusions Spray.
It is one of my favourites.

If you take a look at the dream catchers closely, I also attached some old jewellery findings I had in gold that really tied in with them.

I am very happy with the end result and it is so different from where I started.
It was wonderful to let the creative juices flow and see how this would turn out.

I love sharing my creations with you all and really appreciate any feedback.
Let me know what you think.
Can you see it on your wall?

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to reading your comments.

Keep the Faith
