This really is the Silly Season!!!

This really is the Silly Season!!!

Hello and Welcome to my last post for 2017
Are you ready for the Silly Season???
I have a few more things to do but almost done.

Today I would like to share with you my December DT - Love Family Moments

This layout features the gorgeous String Circle Holly
This pack contains 14 pieces of chipboard.
I have used "Letters to Santa" paper from Kaisercraft.

This chipboard was perfect for framing my picture.
My daughter is queen of the selfies, so this is a family tradition on Christmas Day.
I just love it.
She also gets her step Dad to smile.
 (he is our Grinch)

To colour the chipboard I have used my alcohol markers.
The Christmas word is also from this set and I have left it white.
I have used Postbox Red Spray from Dylusions to flick on the background.

All the chipboard for this project can be found on the Scrapmatts website.

For my second project I have used the hanging stars and the holly chipboard
to create this jar topper.

Again to colour the holly I have used the alcohol markers and to colour the stars and word I have used Silver and Gold Ink from Versa.

This was the finished topper.
I added it to a clear jar found at Kmart and filled it with Christmas Lollies and will decorate the jar.

Here is a list of the products used

I hope you have enjoyed all the designs I have bought you this year and you have found a little inspiration to give them a go.
Thank you all for supporting Australian business.
So from my family to yours

Until next year

Cyber Crop Challenge - Mystical Scrapbooks November 2017

Mystical Scrapbooks November Cyber Crop Challenge

Hello

Today I wanted to share with you my challenge for the Cyber Crop November Challenge for Mystical Scrapbooks.

CIRCLES

Here is my take on the challenge

Mystical Scrapbooks

For this layout I have used the Bohemian Dreams range of papers and embellishments from Cocoa Vanilla.

You can find these papers in the Mystical Scrapbooks Store

The base is watercolour paper. I have a bit of an obsession with it at the moment.

To create the background I sprayed the paper with water and then used
Distress Oxide Ink - Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick.

The circle stamp is from Scrapbook Diaries - Gabrielle Pollacco
The chipboard circles are the bubbles chippy from The Dusty Attic.

The die cut is from Kaisercraft.
Flowers are from my stash.
Enamel Dots, buttons/flairs, tag, chipboard and word stickers are from the Bohemian Dreams collection.

As you can see here I have used the dream catcher chipboard sticker to represent a circle shape.

Products used for this layout are as follows

12x12 Watercolour paper

Strathmore - 12 x 12 Watercolor Paper Pad

Distress Oxides
Ranger Ink - Tim Holtz - Distress Oxides Ink Pads - Worn Lipstick

I Could So Rock This Hair

Scrapmatts

Wow I can't believe its November already. Where has the year gone?
Xmas will be here before we know it.

Today I would like to share with you my latest layout using Scrapmatts Chippy.

Rock this hair

For this layout I have used a few different pieces.
I love the triangles and I decided to use them as a background element by cutting them apart and placing them behind my photo. I have coloured them with Kaisercraft Mist.

For more detail behind the photo I also used the circle mesh and the chain link.

I have splattered black ink on the background and used the Coffee Stain stamp from Kaszazz for added detail.

This layout has been created on * Watercolour 12x12 paper.

I have just discovered this paper and the process to create a watercolour background. I'm in love with it. I feel like a painter when I am doing this and believe me I am no watercolour artist!!!
I have added some *prima flowers to frame the picture.

Example of flowers.

D'Lish Scraps October Challenge - Hook Me Up

I really loved this challenge as it was in my favourite colours and perfect for my page

These are the colours used for my wedding album

Here is my take on the challenge using the sketch for inspiration

The title is a Bon Jovi song
With the journaling lyrics from the song
As my wedding was Bon Jovi themed, my pages are all Bon Jovi song titles
