Good Morning
Welcome to my November Blog Post for Scrapmatts
Not just for the Boyz

Just last weekend I attended a fabulous retreat in Bruce Rock (Western Australia) where I was able to find my mojo and got a lot of layouts completed.

The layout below features lots of chipboard from Scrapmatts.
The photo was taken of my daughter enjoying the ATV's in Bali.
Who said its just for the boyz??

If you like these layouts they will be sold as kits with instructions.

FRAMED XMAS

Good Morning
Today I am sharing my Framed Xmas project with you.

This project was inspired by our very own Sophie.
I seen her version on display at the Scrapmatts stand and just loved it, so I wanted to do my version of it.

Hello Adventure - Nautical Layouts Scrapmatts DT May 2018

Hello Adventure
Nautical Layouts

Good Morning and welcome to May
Today I will be sharing with you my Hello Adventure Nautical layouts I have completed from my recent trip to the South Pacific with Melissa Kennedy.

This layout was inspired by a Bingo challenge that Melissa handed out, as well as a scavenger hunt challenge.
Items collected are shells from the beach, embellishment bought onboard (chipboard) and picture of the ship (in the background of the photo).

I have used the beautiful  BEACH SHACK COLLECTION  from Kaisercraft.

Live Laugh Love - Scrapmatts DT March 2018

Live Laugh Love

Craft on the Run

Hello All
I have been MIA recently due to family matters.
I am now back and catching up on my blogs, so here is a little something that I created for Scrapmatts.
I am sharing with you today an art journal page that I created using Scrapmatts stencils and chipboard.
As I have been looking after my mother in law (dementia) the last month, as my father in law has had a stroke and is still recovering in hospital, I have been very time poor.
So while I have been staying at Mum's house, I wanted to keep being creative. This is where I find that having my art journal allows me to do this. Keeps those creative juices flowing.
Scrapmatts products make it even easier to create as they have so many stencils available.

For my challenge I have 'Scrap Lifted' one of Donna's gorgeous layouts.

Donna's Layout I have 'Scrap Lifted'

Here is my layout. I rotated it 90 degrees.

So my challenge to you is to find a layout from one of the DT members in the Gallery and
'Scrap Lift' it.
Make sure that you also use BRIGHT colours to keep in with the theme.

I have used Kaisercraft Stamps, Washi Tape and Resin Flowers.
The 'Little Moments' chipboard word is from Dusty Attic
I have used black ink to colour the chipboard word.

To finish off the layout I added some black bling.

Belated Post - Believe - Mystical Scrapbooks December Challenges

Belated Post - Believe - Mystical Scrapbooks December Challenges

Hello Once Again.
Can you BELIEVE it's that time of year
to get our festive cheer.

OMG it's December...truly where has this year gone??

I'm sharing with you today my Challenge for Mystical Scrapbooks
I have gone with this Page map.

This is my take on the page map challenge.

I have used papers from Kaisercraft called Christmas Edition, along with the collectables and wooden embellishments.

As you can see from the layout, I did choose not to put the circle on my page, as I felt it was not needed.

The pictures worked well with the colours of these papers.
My theme for my Christmas table is Rose Gold and Metallic's this year.

You can find all the papers and embellishments at Mystical Scrapbooks.
Head on over there to purchase them.

 Karen's Recipe Challenge

Distressed Patterned Paper
12 Embellishments
Two Word Title
Handwritten Journalling

This is my interpretation of the challenge

So I have torn the paper to give it a distressed look.
I have used a variety of embellishments from the Collectables, wooden elements, flowers and leaves.

For my 2 word title I have used the Peace and Joy Collectable
Handwritten Journalling on a scrap piece of paper made into a tag on the side of the photo.

The photo is of my BFF and I attending the Nova Santa Fun Run a few years ago.
One of the requirements was you had to dress as Santa.
We made some alterations to our suits as it was pretty warm that day.

This was our lovely group and you can see the Santa suits became shorts and skirts. I also made my top into a short sleeve.

I made it to the 4km point. Was so happy.

Well I hope you all have a most amazing Christmas and I look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations in 2018!!

Til next year
