Fancy Pants - 6 years of Beautiful Moments.

Well its been a little while since I posted my designs. I have been very busy just catching up on everyday issues and trying to run a business, be a mum, scrapbook, birthday celebrations , that I have had very little time to create. So its nice to finally sit down and post my latest design for you.

My latest design was inspired by my beautiful husband and the wonderful moments we have shared together in the last 6 years.

So I give you 6 years of Beautiful Moments.

Fancy Pants - Pucker Up and Be Mine Papers
Kaiser - Love Notes

I used my trusty dymo machine for journaling the dates. It lent itself to this layout well.

I love these photo frames. Looks like an old polaroid picture.
Instaframes.

I used a page map for inspiration and added a little detail by sewing around the edges of the page.
Gracie Moon Letters
I added more detail by just reverse stitching.

Kaiser Bling adds a little more dimension to my embellishment cluster.

Hi All

Time to play catch up.

One of my latest designs for Made with Memories.

Explore

This layout was inspired by a page map from a book I picked up in the United States last year. It fit really well with my pictures.

Once again I used the left over Prima engravers paper for the background on the left hand side.

The paper for the strip was from my stash, not sure on the brand. The number strip is Prima Engravers.

This clock and cogs embellishment is from Spotlight in the Jewellery section. The white clock is from Spotlight and the cog is Tim Holtz.

The travel words are from a sticker sheet purchased at Hobby Lobby in the States.

I love how the colours, embellishments and words all work for these pages.
I am a big fan of page maps or sketches. They really help when you have lost your mojo.
These pictures lent them self to this page nicely.

These photo's were taken at a place just outside of Walpole, Western Australia called Swarbrick Wilderness Discovery.
It has a fascinating array of artwork place through the forest. It was so serene and peaceful.

So with that in mind, its time to go and create with my new design pack.

Till next time. Stay safe and happy creating.

Memories Frame

Memories Frame
Created for Made with Memories

Products used
Prima Engraver Collection papers and flowers.
Dusty Attic Chipboard Scrolls
Glossy Accents
Ribbon
Charm
Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap
Smooch - Vanilla Shimmer

I love to take old wooden photo frames and upcycle them with inspirational quotes.
As this was designed for Made with Memories, I thought the quote fitted perfectly and it would be a beautiful addition to the shop wall.

As the papers where quite dark, I wanted to lighten the frame up, so I took out my trusty Tim Holtz sanding block and went to town. I love the effect.

The chipboard scroll was inked with Frayed Burlap and then covered in Glossy Accents and lightly sanded.
Picture is a little blurry sorry.

Finally I finished off with the Prima flowers and added a little charm to the centre and then took the ribbon and stapled it to the back of the frame for hanging purposes.
Lastly I then used my glossy accents to cover the words and then spritzed it with smooch vanilla shimmer.

It's always a pleasure to share someone's memories

We Got It Going On

This layout is titled ...We Got It Going On
As some of you maybe aware, I am in the process of completing my wedding album and if you haven't already guessed I am a huge Bon Jovi fan, so therefore all my layouts have Bon Jovi song titles.

My colour theme is red, white and black so when I had these beautiful papers from the Prima engravers collection to work with, I knew they would fit with my album theme perfectly.

This is the first page.
Prima & Kaiser flowers used.

This is the second page.
Wax seals & thickers letters.

My apologies for the photo's being sideways, not sure why I can't rotate them.

I am very happy with the end result.

Tattered Floral Birdcage

It's that time again where another month is nearing it's end and I have been madly designing.
My inspiration this month was from the Prima Engravers Collection of papers, flowers and brads.
This little birdcage got a make over. Too cute.
After seeing a post from Tim Holtz using his Tattered floral die and some distress paints, I was inspired to break out my die and see what I could with it.

This is the finished flower using Prima Engraver Collection Papers & Brads.
Prima flower, Tim Holtz Cog.

These ticket tags are inked with Versa Pinecone.

This little bird was picked up in a discount store.

The blue lace border is prima. This was purchased in the States.

I love the end result.

I am what I Choose to Become

Here is another layout completed using the left over papers from the Kaisercraft 45c collection.

I really like this picture of myself and it was a selfie, which I am not good at taking, so was very happy with the end result. I also think it really suited the layout. I used part of a tag from the collection of papers. I loved what it said.
Another favourite is the black script washi tape. It's my new obsession and think it lends itself well to these papers.

Another of my favourites is my dymo machine. I picked it up for $5 at the reject shop a few years ago, but I love that it is quick and easy to journal pages with.

The black lace flowers used in this layout where from a headband picked up at a discount store. I love to search these places for cheap embellishments. The silver flower was picked up from Scrap It, Flaunt It in Kelmscott. I am not sure of the brand.

I really like the way this page all came together and was very happy that it took me less than an hour too. Normally I sit for hours trying to fit everything together. On this particular day, it was like it almost fell onto the page. My creativity was definately flowing.

Well I hope you have all enjoyed my first month of creating for Made with Memories and I look forward to the next challenge.

Take care and happy scrapping

Imagine

This layout was inspired by the photo. The beautiful image is of my niece and the photo was taken by Hourglass Photography in NSW.
The paper range is from Kaisercraft called 45cents collection. They really matched well with the photo.
I love the way I was able to line the lettering up with the flower to give the I its dot.

These butterfly are part of the embellishment collection. I coloured them with "Mustard Seed" Distress Ink.

The lace border is from Prima and I purchased it in the United States. The scrolls are coloured with Mustard Seed Distress Ink and then I used glossy accents to coat them. They are from Dusty Attic. Flowers are Prima.

This beautiful quote says " If a butterfly can flap its wings a thousand times a minute to reach its destination.....Imagine what you can do". I found it a scrapbooking magazine.

I am very happy with the finished product.

1st Post for Made with Memories Design Team........Bathing Beauties

I am truely excited to be posting my very first project for Made with Memories Design Team.

These bottles were created using the new Kaisercraft paper range 45c.

I was inspired to create these bathing beauties after a recent trip to America, where I was visiting a gorgeous little scrapbook store in Salt Lake City...Mom and Me Scrapbooking and saw some bottles decorated for Christmas...so when I saw this range I wanted to put my own little spin on them and came up with these bathing beauties.

I recycled some Corona Bottles, covered over the labels, decorated and then filled them with Bath Fizz, Hand Soap, Body Wash and Shower Gel . My very handy husband then put the bottle tops on for me. I was given some beautiful red wine for Christmas in the holder, so I recycled it and decorated with the Kaiser paper, some washi black script tape, ribbon and Kaisercraft flowers. I absolutely love the end result.

You could also adapt these to hold embellishments, lollies, coloured water for decorative purposes or you could dress them up in a tux and a wedding dress and use for wedding favours for your guests. Unlimited possibilities...

Enjoy creating
